On behalf of the AI-in Gov Council, a public-private partnership uniting academia, public sector technology providers, and government CXOs from local, state, and federal organizations, we appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the development of the AI Action Plan.

Led by George Mason University Vice President and Chief AI Officer, Dr. Amarda Shehu, and Brillient Corporation’s Chief Digital Officer and Senior Vice President, Mr. Richard Jacik, our Council is committed to fostering AI-driven innovation that enhances efficiency, security, and transparency in government. Drawing from our experience working with government agencies we present recommendations to sustain and enhance America’s AI leadership while ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI in the public sector.
